SPRINT Adventure Race - Monsoon Edition

Hello Everyone,

NthAdventure invites all Adventure Racing lovers to join us to EXPERIENCE the thrill of this amazing sport. From competitive to trial categories, single sport to multiple sport disciplines. We are here to share more about this sport.

We welcome you to our next edition of SPRINT Adventure Racing.

You will be Cycling, Trail Running, Hiking & Orienteering, on a non-marked course using google maps to navigate across the finish line collecting all the checkpoints. No prior experience is required. The course has been designed as a first step into the world of Adventure Racing and will give you a true taste of multi-sport, expedition-style racing. From pro athletes to beginners, this race is for all those who want to experience as well as prepare for the next race

EVENT CATEGORIES: 

• 10 KM Trail-O - Solo (Trail Running with Navigation)
• 10 KM MTB-O - Solo (Cycling with Navigation)
• 30 KM Adventure Race - Solo / Open Team of 2 
• 60 KM Adventure Race - Open Team of 2 

Terminologies:

• “O” – ORIENTEERING / Map Reading
• 30/60 KM AR – 30 and 60-kilometer Adventure Racing
• All events will come with a physical Google Map for orienteering
• Every Athlete to bring own cycle (Cycles allowed: All except E-Bikes)

Race Discipline:

• Mountain Biking
• Trail running
• Hiking
• Orienteering (Google Maps will be provided)
• And some surprise elements

Race Split: 30KM Category

• Cycling: 70% includes Off-Road, Tarmac, cement road, Mud road, and no road sections           
  • Trail Running & Hiking: 30% includes Trails, farmlands, Tarmac, Cement, and Boulder sections 
  • Orienteering: 100%
  • Cycling: All Cycles allowed except Electric
  • Road Cycles are welcome but we are not responsidble for riding in OFF ROADS.

    Race Split: 60KM Category 

• Cycling: 70% includes Off-Road, Hike-a-bike or Push-a-bike, Tarmac, cement road, Mud road, and no road sections (Approx. 45 – 55 KM)                  
  • Trail Running & Hiking: 30% includes Trails, farmlands, Tarmac, Cement, and Boulder sections (Approx. 10-15 KM)
  • Orienteering: 100%
  • Cycling: All Cycles allowed except Electric
  • Road Cycles are welcome but we are not responsidble for riding in OFF ROADS.

Event Schedule:             

10th August 2024

• 6.00 AM: Registration
• 7:00 AM: Race Briefing
• 7.30 AM: Flag Off - All Categories
• 3:00 PM: Lunch followed by Closing Ceremony

L N T: We follow a very strict L N T Rule – LEAVE NO TRACE participants who do not follow it will be disqualified from the race without any notification, what you bring you should carry that back, no littering whatever reasons.

MAPS: The race is a non-marked course, Google Maps will be provided for all the categories

• The race route and map will be shared only on the event day
• Any category having less than 7 Teams / Solo Athletes will be automatically moved to the Open Category. 
• For Team Registration only one person to complete the registration form.
• As of now, the dates for the events are fixed. However, for any new rule, law or order by the government in the interest of public safety, this event might get postponed to a later date.
